Bill Leithead is reading

Bill Leithead is “officially” reading Multiplication of Distributions by Jean
François Colombeau (£20.50, ISBN 3540562885, Springer Verlag). No
surprises there: Leithead is reader in control engineering at Strathclyde
University and director of the Centre for Economic Renewable Power Delivery. But
you’ll also find him absorbed in A Conspiracy of Hope, the novel by Michael
Cannon (£9.99, ISBN 1852425172, Serpent’s Tail).

Power takes on many various forms and Leithead is a keen student of another
type of control engineering. Top of his gift shopping list is The Scottish
Nation 1700-2000, by T. M. Devine (£9.99, ISBN 0140230041, Penguin). He’d
recommend it for anyone who is interested in understanding recent constitutional
changes in Scotland, notably devolution and the establishment of the Scottish Parliament.
