McGavin will explore the fascinating natural history of insects, the most species-rich and abundant group of multicellular organisms ever to have evolved on our planet. They were among the first animals to conquer land and the first to take to the air. In fact, insects play a vital role in land-based ecosystems and we ignore them at our peril.
