Children play the parts of wires, switches, lightbulbs and buzzers in an electrical circuit, design greeting cards that light up and visit a hydroelectric power plant in Electricity, one of a series of l0 science programmes to be aired at 10.15 am on Wednesdays on Channel 4. The series Making Sense of Science is aimed at helping primary school teachers excite youngsters about science, but makes interesting viewing for all. The series began on 20 September.
