This is a real bargain. The latest edition of Henderson’s Dictionary of Biological Terms by Eleanor Lawrence (Longman, £17.99, ISBN 0 582 22708 9), has again been updated. Though intended primarily for professionals and students, it should also appeal to anyone interested in keeping up with a fast-moving area. The diagrams are helpful.
