The original version of Redshift received major awards for its realistic exploration of astronomy and our Universe. Now Redshift 2 (Maris, £49.99) updates the CD-ROM and offers us a fascinating insight into the space that surrounds Earth. It has rightly received rave reviews for its animated images of journeys through the Solar System and star formation.
