VICTORIA has 129 species of butterfly. They are all listed in the
Victorian Butterfly Database which has been put together by biologists
David Crosby and Nigel Quirk, who have been collecting and studying
butterflies for 50 years. The distribution and life cycle of each species is
detailed in maps, photographs and text. The database, a CD-ROM, is available for
