Any thief who tries to steal a laptop or notebook computer fitted with the
Defcon 1 alarm is in for a shock. Defcon 1 uses a motion sensor to detect when
the computer is moved around. Unless the correct password is entered to disable
it first, a 110-decibel alarm shriek is set off.
