Alexis Wnuk is the subeditor for New Scientist in New York. She enjoys writing about neuroscience, health and the environment and loves a good data visualisation. Before joining New Scientist, she was the staff writer for BrainFacts.org, and she has also written for Men's ÎçÒ¹¸£Àû1000¼¯ºÏ and Pitt Med magazine. She has degrees in neuroscience and English from the University of Pittsburgh.
