Simon Evetts

Bio

Simon Evetts has been a passionate proponent of human space flight for 35 years. He led the  Medical Projects & Technology Unit, supporting the health of astronauts. He is the chair of the Commercial Human Spaceflight Training Working Group, which aims to establish standardised space flight training programmes for the commercial space sector, and co-invented one of the recognised means of performing CPR in space, the . He is a visiting professor at Northumbria University, UK, and visiting senior lecturer at King’s College London. In 2025, he co-founded , a business establishing an extreme environment research and training facility in Exeter, UK, where he leads the human space flight arm of the business’s consultancy.
